Patient care technicians are important members of the health care team. Basically, the patient care technician assists patients in hospitals, nursing homes or other medical settings, with those tasks that they cannot do themselves. Like the technician assists the patients with eating, getting out of bed, taking a bath and so on. In this regard, the patient care technicians are also called hospital attendants, nurse's aides, health care assistants, certified nurse assistants.
