Georgia Medical Institute started in 1977 as the Georgia Medical Employment Preparatory Center. They were bought by Corinthian Colleges in 2000. Georgia Medical Institute is a for-profit college and offers career training in the medical and dentistry industry. They opperate 5 colleges in Georgia in the following centers: Atlanta, DeKalb, Jonesboro, Marietta, Norcross. Not all the campus locations offer the same programs.
